How much are new release blu-ray movies.?

Hi, can someone tell me how much a new release blu-ray movie is. I just got a ps3 and I want to get rambo on blu-ray, I can buy it at walmart.com for $22 plus shipping or would it be cheaper just to go to the store? Thanks.

Day-date release movies on Blu-ray are according to a recent survey an average $11 more expensive than the same movie on DVD.

That said, have a look at the site below ... it allows you to find the best on-line price for DVDs, HD DVDs or Blu-ray disks. In general on-line prices are much better than brick and mortar stores.

That said, you would be advised to be aware that Blu-ray disks are almost always more expensive than DVDs (and MSRP prices have recently increased $5) and in some cases are not much of an improvement. See the 2nd link for a site that rates the new releases for picture and audio quality ... following their reviews can help prevent wasting money on a marginally better version (Blu-ray) for muchodollars more.

Most new blu ray releases are $30-$35. Some older movies go for $25.

That looks like a good price, Amazon has it for 24.95 shipped. Retail is 29.99
