How much are regular shots for cats?

I really am interested in getting my neighbors kitten. I know It needs shots and flea protection/heart worm ext. but how much is the average cost? thanks!

When I had my first cat vaccinated his shots varied from $15-20 each, but no more than that. Getting tested for Feline Leukemia and all of that was around $30 but well worth it. Don't forget about getting the kitty spayed or neutered! It cost me $105 to get my male neutered because I had the Feline Leukemia test, he was wormed, and had another vaccination and they did something to keep an eye on him through the surgery since had been attacked by a dog a few months prior. Just an extra precaution. Just to have him neutered was around $35 and it would be around $60 for a female. It costs $12-13 for a single dose of Frontline Plus. Please purchase these from your vet and not from a store such as WalMart. I live in a small town so these prices can vary. Phone several vets in your area. Since prices vary around the country you'll just need to do a few phone calls to find out what the going rates are in your area.

It really depends on where you live, since prices vary in different parts of the country (and world).  I just took my kitty to the vet last week for all of her shots and the total cost was $91.00.  As for flea/heartworm prevention, I use Frontline and Heartgard, and a six-month supply of both of those costs a total of approximately $100.00.  Yes, it's expensive, but my kitty is worth every penny I have to spend on her to keep her healthy.
