Don't quote me but I think we worked out that it cost P & O something like £3,000 a day in Madeira when she was on her Maiden Voyage - we were there on holiday when she came in and that was what we were told (had to do a conversion from Euros).

Why don't you give the P & O offices in Southampton a ring and ask - they may well be back at work on Thursdays.  We've found them to be very helpful when we've asked questions about the line.
