Well, I have four coins and I wanted to know how much these coins are worth. The first one is my 1907 Twenty Dollar Gold Coin (with Motto).

Next, Is my two 1972 silver dollar coins. And finally we have my 1776-1976 half dollar coin. None of these coins are sealed and none have the letter "S" on them.

Thank You!!!!!

  1. 30.00$

  2. Copper-nickel Eisenhower dollars from 1972, minted for general circulation, with no mintmark or a 'D' mintmark, are worth face value, $1.

Copper-nickel Bicentennial Kennedy half dollars from 1976, minted for general circulation, with no mintmark or a 'D' mintmark, are worth face value, $0.50.

There may be some exceptions for coins that are in Proof condition, or in absolutely stunning Mint State.  Even then, they may bring not substantially more than face value; perhaps a few times face.

If the $20 gold coin is just a replica or copy, especially a "mini" version, it's worth just a couple of dollars at most.  Here's a retail price guide (e.g. what a dealer might charge for a coin sold to customers in their shop)  for genuine $20 St. Gaudens gold coins:

You can find some real world, person-to-person sales prices via this eBay search:

As a quick test, genuine coins will be 34 mm in diameter, weigh 33.346 grams (or very slightly less if circulated), and have a reeded edge.

Update: as Taiping has pointed out, NO genuine 1907 St. Gaudens $20 gold coins bear the motto, "In God We Trust," on the reverse.  That motto was introduced in the following year, 2008.  Roughly 1 in 12 of the 1908 coins also lack that motto, while the remaining 1908s, and coins minted in subsequent years, have that motto.

  3. $30.00 a piece

  4. $22.50

  5. There are no 1907 double eagles ($20) with motto "In God We Trust." The Motto started in 1908. Besides no one with a 1907  $20 gold coin that is authentic, would not know it is a rare coin at least the ones with Roman Numeral dates. The other one with Arabic numerals is not exactly common either. The 1972 Ike dollars are copper/nickel clad and in circulated condition are worth just that, one dollar. The 1/2 dollar is also a common coin and in circulated grades is worth .50 cents. Check out the gold coin for it is a fake, or are you trying to see if we are awake out here.

  6. Pretty Nice:

    To a museum about $100- $200?

    and to someone else

    about $50
