How much are typical closing costs in Winnipeg Manitoba?

We just bought a house for 175,000. We went with the 0 down payment option.

The lawyer just quoted us at about $4,800 in closing costs/fees.

Is this typical? I thought it would be more like 2,500

Anyone who knows anything about this please help!

$2,500 seems like the right ballpark here in the states, not sure about up north.  With 0 down, there could be additional mortgage insurance premium as well as addition escrow for mortgage insurance.  If it is something that is unplatted, or an odd property, the survey costs could be as much as double normal.

You'd have to see the breakdown of costs to see where the money is going.
