How much are we spending on gas to drive an hour?

If gas is almost five bucks a gallon, how much are we spending per hour?

it really depends on the car and the speed you are traveling.

lets say your car gets 20 mpg and is going an average of 40 mph, you'd be spending about 10 bucks to drive for that hour.

look at it this way, 10 bucks to move 4000 pounds of metal 40 miles is a steal :)
