  1. Yes, imagine a busy crossing with a policeman, who then leaves suddenly...chaos! Your blood pressure will rise too suddenly and will prob be too much to supply your heart or brain properly.

    Speak to your doctor about reducing the dose gradually and safely.

Very much.  Research what blood pressure is.  It is the heart pumping harder than it has too and forcing blood against the walls of the arteries harder making it unsafe.  Heart attack is on thing but a stroke or artery rupture is worst.  Talk to you doctor.  Research the Internet.  But don't stop the meds.

  3. There are risk of stroke if high blood pressure pills are stopped. It is advisable not to stop medication.

  4. Talk to your doctor before you suddenly stop any medication especially ones that are that important.

  5. Make your husband take his BP meds.    After all, you shouldn't kick a dead horse.
