A "drill" is one half day. So for every day the national guard serve on their weekends, they get paid for two "drills". And usually 4-5 per weekend.

Im in the national guard and they get paid for on weekend a month. the pay all depends on your rank. i am a PFC (private first class) and i would get about $150-$200 on a weekend. But i work full time (optional) and i make $2400 a month. NOT TO SHABBY for a 19 yr. old. = ]
