  1. Hey be careful of cutting back on babysitters! U know what i mean. Do square deals and let them know u are not kidding. OK!!!!!

  2. I pay $450 a month for one child.

  3. i babysit and it all depands how long the mom was gone

  4. $4.50 an hour.

  5. My sister pays a dollar per hour per kid.

  6. I am the babysitter and I charge $100 a week no matter if I watch her 2 days or 5 days. I usually only keep her 3 days a week. I also watch her brother and I charge $25 a day for him.

  7. When I babysat about 5 or 6 years ago, I charged $5 or $6 an hour for one kid, and $7 for 2, $8 for three, etc.,

Then again, I did a good job with the kids...so it's a matter of what you want. $1 per child per hour will get you a hardwood floor and some TV.

  8. Our regular sitter charges me $20 a day while I work full time ($100 a week total).  However, our backup options are usually quite more expensive.  I was using a daycare on an 'as-needed' basis when our sitter wasn't available, they charged $34 a day.  I currently have a backup sitter (who used to work at the same daycare), she charges me $30 a day for watching my daughter at her house.  I may add, I provide meals/snacks for the regular sitter, but the daycare and our backup sitter provide all that.

  9. I am VERY lucky and my mom watches my children for me for free!
