How much atmospheric gas escapes into space each year?

I know an exact amount isn't likely to be known, but any links with information would be great.

Probably not a lot. Hopefully none escapes, it is still affected by gravity and held to earth, it is just less dense than the solid part of the earth so it is held further than the solid. But it is still held firm.
