How much better is an N router than a G router for gaming?

Question

i want to play games such as cod4 and halo 3 on my xbox 360 while also being connected on my desktop to play WOW and other online games

would G (new linksys rangeplus) be fine?

Unless you have an extremely high speed internet connection, your router should never be a limiting factor.  A G router should be fine.

yes it should be fine as long as your not 100 of feets away. you just need to set the priorities of your router to give what port for what game will need the priority bandwidth.
