How much better is the Honda Civic on gas compared to the Accord?

Let's say for example that you have a Civic and an Accord. They are side-by-side and both are 4-bangers with the Civic having a 1.8 liter engine and the Accord a 2.2. Both are automatics BTW. What kind of mileage would each get highway? Does the Civic's gas mileage really blow away that of an Accord? Which car in general is know to last longer?

realistically speaking, most cars get a lower gas mileage than the window sticker. Now, I have gotten 35 miles per gallon in my accord.

in general the civic has better mileage because it is smaller and lighter than the accord the accord is supposed to have a higer top speed though

For sure its the Acoord that offers best mileage and thats so true most vehicles dont give the sticker mileage companies claim.
