How much bigger did you get between 17-19 weeks? Also a shopping question.?

I am going to a resort with my husband and his family (for his parent's wedding anniversary) and I am trying to figure out what I'll fit into! I am showing a bump and I can still fit into someo f my stretchier dresses, but I'm already in maternity jeans and pants. The place is supposedly very nice (it's called Nemacolin, in PA) and I have been told that jeans are a no-no, and that I'll need cocktail dresses etc. Anyone out there remember if they got ALOT bigger in this period or should I just expect minor growth and hope to fit into the stuff I have?

Also, any suggestions on online stores with good dresses? Thanks!!

I had to find a nice dress around 19 weeks or so for a wedding.  I went to JCPenney's.  They have a ton of dresses that AREN'T maternity but will fit you no matter how far you are.

You will definitely have a bump by then so I would wait until a few weeks before you leave to choose something.

If all else fails, find a nice black dress that will make you look stunning!!!  Again, you don't necessarily have to buy maternity.  Just choose the right cut and material.

Congrats - as for maternity dresses, they will grow with you.  You can buy one now and it should fit you the remainder of the maternity.  I have found tons of stuff at www.jcpenney.com.  Here is a link to their dresses and skirts...very cute.  As a second note - if you want to keep wearing your pre-maternity pants, buy a BellaBand (also at jcp.com).  They work wonders to keep everything up, in, and comfortable.

I would get a nice maternity dress you probably won't get to much bigger in that tiome frame but to be on the safe side I would go with a bigger dress.  her is my 18 and 20 week pictures. I went with these because the 17 and 19 week ones are taken one with a bare belly and the other with out a bare belly which can make a difference in appearance.

just get a few dresses from places that allow you to return them if you don't need them. you'll need a few for the rest of your pregnancy anyway...

It will vary for every woman. I would buy a nice pair of maternity slacks and a couple nice blouses. Bring those and the clothes you have and you should be ok. Try http://www.motherhoodmaternity.com
