How much calories are recommended to take each day for a 5"9" person?

Im a slim person and ive been working out allot for a while and ive gained muscle in my abdomen arms chest..etc. but im still skinny. tall and skinny is not really my main look i would want to keep forever. So i was wondering how much calories should i take to gain a good amount of weight. My goal is 160-165..currently i weigh 130.

  2. you need to eat healthy 2000 a day is for average so you need to up it to 3,000 for a few days and see how much you gain if you gain to fast slow it down to 2500 a day.

  3. you weight 130.. if you are rather inshape, you will want to be eating at least 1300 calories a day and working out to gain muscle weight. Eat plant protein to gain it the best. basically you go by the rule of 10. Take the weight your body wants, and times by 10. If you think you really should be at 160, then you want to consume at least 1600 calories a day, mainly from plant sources.
