How much can I buy for a car?

I just came out of a state school, i am a computer engineer. i make 50k a year and i am 22 what can i afford to buy for a car?

rule states that u should get a car that totals 50% of your income. so $25,000 car would be realistic. but with $50,000 u can afford more than that

but that is adjustable depending on what other bills you have? rent? house note? college loans?

how is your credit rating? this can determine your APR.

for 50k almost anything, i thought you were an engineer so you have some brains of a price range and what you want so research some stuff check autotrader.com if you want a used car

My thoughts exactly.

If you have completed school, you have very little idea on how to structure a sentence so it makes sence.

How much can I buy for a car? is about 3 possible sentences rolled into one.

Anyway, grammar aside, If you are on 50k a year, you should have half an idea of what sort of car you want, and on that sort of money you wont need to finance it.

Why not look at a Hybrid car, or a small efficient vehicle like a Toyota or Honda.

Or, why not stop telling pork pies.
