Question:

How much can I claim for a car accident?

I got into a car accident and the total cost of repair was $540. But the other party's insurance company is denying the claim and the person who hit me does not want to be responsible neither. So I am going to file a claim to small claims court. However, I have spent numerous of hours on dealing with this issue and I even will have to ask for day off from work to appear in court. Does anyone think I can claim for more than $540, which was the total cost of repair. Also, does anyone think I will be able to claim for the money I need to be off from work, court fees, time loss, etc.? Thanks in advance.

  1. As far as i know, this is a question with many different answers,it is really depend on the judgement of yourself, provide a great resource here for reference though.http://car-insurance.bestips.info/car-in...

  2. did you have insurance, if so try and get them to handle the matter for you  if you have to file a small claim because of no insurance i would think you could include all the above but make sure you have documented or worked it all out beforehand and have a positive idea of how much you want to claim.   good luck.
