How much can I expect to pay for a taxi ride from Schoenefeld Airport to Tegel Airport?

I have too much luggage to try and navigate the buses and trains unless the cost is prohibitive. Any recommendations or tips on how not to get ripped off when using a taxi in Berlin?

It's a bit more than 30 km, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes and it will cost you a around 40 euro. You won't get ripped off - it's expensive enough ;).

With train it takes around 1 hour to 1:20, you have to go to Hauptbahnhof (central/main station) and change there to the bus TXL, which brings you to the airport - it costs 2,10 euro.

Last time I was in Berlin was 1974 - I rather expect rates have risen since then.  I'd love to go back and see it without that bloody wall!

i went from tegel to east berlin and it cost around 20 euros.
