How much can I expect to pay to buy a condo in california?

I plan on moving in the fall or winter of this year in the greater san diego area (mission valley is the area i am looking at).

I wonder if anyone has any ideas on about how much a 3 br 2 ba condo would go for in my area?

it all depends where in Cali, but there certainly aren't a lot of "cheap" places to live.  I have a townhome in Santa Clara County that I purchased for $486K in '99 that I just put on the market for $810K..

Your best bet is to go to realtor.com .  you can put in the zip or area.  All of the info. is current unlike other real estate search engines.  Be prepared to pay big bucks in the San Diego area.
