How much can I make as a public school teacher in Southern NJ public elementary school?

I just decided to major in education. My plan is to earn my 60 credits and work as a substitute while working to earn my bachelor's degree. I wanted to know how much I could make "starting out" once I have the qualifications to become a full time teacher.

go to yahoo hotjobs and find out. under career tools they have a salary thing that tells you what teachers make in each area. u can even pay for a very in depth report on it. the free one just give u the median pay and 75th and 25th percentile

public school teachers are all union employees so they salary schedules will be posted online at either the district and/or the union website.  there is no guess work about how much your fellow teachers make - it is all based on education and experience.
