Hi guys. I really want to put a amp and sub onto my Sony CDX-GT270S CD Player in my car. I'm just wondering how can I match up my stereo to an amp and sub? Could I power 1200w sub from a 250w amp, or a 250w sub from a 1200w amp (would It blow up), for example. Do you know which are the best brands? I'd really like to learn heaps about subs and amps, and It's my first time to Yahoo, so anything you can tell me would be great! Cheers. Jake

  2. The AMP power should alway be LOWER THAN the sub.

Otherwise you will over drive the sub and blow it.
