  1. go to be a card dealer than u know now much they have for tip?

  2. I used to deal for 10 years, in Las vegas the dealers get a shift wage which varies, in the the range between $32 and $45 per shift. All tips are pooled and divided equally depending on hours worked. Strip dealers usually earn between $125-$175 per 8 hour shift. Downtown dealers are between $100- $150 per shift and would you believe dealers on the border make alittle more(state line). So basically the dealers make 50k+ annually. Some dealers are leaving Vegas to deal in some Indian reservation casinos cuz some get to keep their own tips, which on a good day can earn $1000 + in one night but usually average $300+.

    Hope that answers your question.

  3. Dealers in Vegas are paid minimum wage and share all tips with all other dealers on their shift. It does not matter if you tip a certain dealer or do not tip another they all get their cut. It also makes no difference whether or not there is a high roller at the table. The money is pooled and chopped between everyone.

  4. It depends on you, if your customers are winning, then you win.

Also, you never know when a Big Tipper/High Roller will sit at your table, then you're an even bigger winner!

  5. A poker dealer can deal 20-25 hands an hour.  Each hand the dealer can expect to average $1.  Add that to the minimum wage they make and health benefits, retirement plan and you are at $250-$300 per night.

  6. A lot, haha.

I guess it all depends on which casino their working at, what kind of table (high roller or what have you), how good they look (sadly), & if he wins? Don't you think? I know they can make quite a lot though. I wonder how much they get paid an hour...

  7. My parents are big gamblers.  The bigger the win, the larger the tip!

All of it would depend on getting into a high-end casino, building a reputation, and giving up your nightlife. Of course, working in a casino becomes your nightlife so it all works out I guess.

A friend of mine is a cocktail waitress in NJ and she has been able to invest in a 350,000.00 beachfront condo in FL from her tips.  I would imagine that a card dealer would make much more than a waitress.

  8. I think a dealer earns more per hour, then in tips per hour.

However, it depends on the table they're at and there personality.

    Remember there are $5, $10, $20 and $100 tables,

Also, which hotel I think is not as important they're all basically the same.

    *5 diamond resorts

    MGM, BALLY, CASEARS, LUXOR, etc...
