A smaller Sulcata Tortoise can easily carry 200 lbs by itself. I do not doubt that a Galapagos or Aldabaran Tortoise could carry the load.

Should you do it is a different question. Galapagos Tortoises are endangered, and all tortoises can feel sensation through their shells. If you get on there, the tortoise will try as hard as they can to get you off, and they can be better at that than you might think.
