  1. i dont know

  2. usually it is between 25-30 dollars an hour. 25 being an accompanist and 30 for a soloist. there is usually a 10-15 minute break in between the hours

  3. Greetings P.  :)   You can't charge anything if they don't hire you first,  right???   Check with the establishment you would like to play with and have some music ready for a short audition, should they want to hear what you can do.   Charge $75.00 an hour ...  professional musicians get from $150 to $300 a night (3 hours) so $75.00 is more than reasonable.  You are saying "Luxury".  Now if it were a piano bar... you would be charging less because of tips.   Hope that gives you a starting place.   Thanks for reading.

  4. Generally Musicians charge $25/hour and get a 15 minute break after each hour of performance. So if you play 4 hours you'd end up taking three breaks. after the first, second, and third "set". I've been told to never charge less than this because musicians have been making that amount for nearly a hundred years without a raise. Don't be the one to lower the standerds for hard working, unappreciated musicians!
