  1. Depends on no of visitors, Positioning in Search engines. All I can say is the minimum would be £15 month.

  2. Not a lot at the moment.  Your Alexa rating is over 4m. and this needs to be greatly reduced.

You have a good looking site but the pages that are 'being added to' are a turn off.  I suggest you get rid of them

Why not approach a couple of top flight sites and offer them free advertising?  This will do two things,  (1) improve your Alexa rating and (2) attract other top flight sites who you can then charge offering them 'advantageous rates'.  Sprat to catch a mackerel or a lure, whichever you prefer.  You will then be able to make offers to these new top flight web sites using the 'free' sites as an example.  Incoming links are very important as far as SEO is concerned.

Hope you can understand this, otherwise contact me off board.

    Best of luck.

  3. Depends on how niche the audience is and how many visitors you get. If you have lots of vistiors charge on a CPC or CPM basis if you have a small audince charge a residency fee which could be woth £1000s of pounds per month if you have an audinece that is related to the advertiser.

  4. How many hits per hour do you get?

  5. You have a beautiful website with a very nice homepage rank of 4/10 with google. I checked out the Ireland pages and I have some advice for you.

Remove the "These pages are currently being added" pages from the site. These really turn people off and the search engines don't like them either.

Only add a page after you've completed it.

Your site is nice enough and once it's done you should be able to charge very competitive rates for your advertising.  Golf is a very competitiive category. I would see what sites come up in a search and see what they are charging for advertising and position myself slightly below that, at least until you have a good number of advertisers.

    Good luck out there!

  6. Hi,

I have a lot of experience marketing small companies online (I have 3 companies).  One of the best ways is to sign up at business directories and protals.  These are basically listings of businesses (simliar to the phone book).  The advantage is that these portals usually get a lot of traffic and they're ranked high on Google because of all the quality links they contain.

My favorite portal is called Directory Exclusive.  I signed up a few weeks ago because they're giving a away a free business card holder when a person enter's their company info.  I received it in the mail 3 days ago =)

I don't know if they still have that promotion, but you can try to get the free card holder here:

    Good Luck
