Question:

How much can i improve?

I am currently a soph in hs and during XC this year, i was running high 18's for 5k. This was without much training during the summer(i never ran more than 3-4 miles a day) what could my times be next year if i ran every day during the summer and added some distance to my runs?

  1. Probably low 18s to mid 17s at least.


  2. if you keep at it everyday you will be able to gradually run more and more...probably won't notice it for awhile

  3. if you do as you wrote, easily you can reach 17.00 in a year.

    to break 17 is a little hard, but i believe you can.

    under 15 is very hard, its up to you, hang in there.
