How much can i overclock my processor?

Question

i have a intel pentium D @ 3.4GHZ running with stock cooling, however case is fairly cool (2 120mm, 1 80mm case fans, and chipset fan underneath) how much can i overclock this cpu to and how do i overclock from the bios on my 750i mobo

Depends on your cooling rig. If you have fans (air cooling) then you can probably hit close to 4.0GHz at a safe level. However if you have a decent liquid cooling system (Swiftech, Thermaltake, etc.) then you can easily hit 5.0 GHz with no problem. You overclock from either a software from your desktop or your BIOS
