What year? It does not matter much as you are looking at with 140,000 about 500.00 as market value today.

I personally wouldn't take it if you stuffed $1,000 in the glovebox before you gave it to me, but apparently they're going up in value due to fuel prices being what they are. Check http://www.kbb.com/ for a good estimate.

On one hand, you might want to keep it, but on the other hand, if/when fuel prices go down, the value of your Metro will follow suit.
