How much can i sell my viola for?

i have a viola i bought last year and this is my last year playing it and then im planning to sell it and buy a guitar about how much do you think i can get for a 2 and a half year old used viola

First of all, no instrument can be appraised without holding and playing it, which of course you cannot do online.  You must take it to a luthier to have it appraised.

But even if that were not the case, you have no provided enough information to make any sort of judgement.  "Used" instruments are not inferior to "new" ones;  quite the contrary.  And you would have to indicate who the maker is, how the instrument has been cared for, how old the instrument is, and what you paid for it originally.
