  1. If you really want to sell it...around 9K is all the money. If you want to speculate and aren't in a hurry...10.5 to 11.

    Good luck.

  2. I'd try to get at least about $15000-$18000

  3. Ask a broker what you think you should ask for it, and in my experience ask about 20% to 30% less than that.  The first price the broker will suggest will most likely be high as they may want to list it for the highest possible price to make as much as possible themselves.  Best of luck with the sale.

  4. A professional Yacht Broker would help you in this particular matter. Most people don't really know what we do or how we accomplish what you hire us to.  As a professional Yacht Broker it does me no good to list a boat outside of the market.  The whole Idea is to sell it, not pay 100's or thousands of dollars a month in advertising a boat that will just sit on the market taking up valuable advertising resources. Yes,  The 15 websites that I advertise on cost quite a bit more than you think.  That being said, there has been only one sold on the brokerage market in the last 12 calendar months.  It was a trade in at Russo Marine in Mass.  that sold for 10,468.  As for what is on the brokerage market now, there are no 2001-2003 Sea Pro 17s on the market.  There are 6 2004-2008 models available ranging from 10,900 (2004 model) to 23,380 (2008 model).  They are a popular boat and are just now coming into the pre-owned market.  I always recommend to my clients to list the boat 10% above where the market has shown the boat to sell at.   Most real buyers make a 10% off offer anyway.  Any more and buyers think you are asking too much and won't even make an offer.  Too little and you get the "bottom feeders" that will offer you another 20% less than the average selling price.  If you were my client, I would suggest that you list the boat between $10,900 and $12,500 depending on what part of the country you live in.  Higher for the South/Southeast/California and a bit lower for the Great Lakes/Eastern Seaboard.  You should be able to sell the boat for $9,500 to 10,500 depending on how well you have taken care of the boat.  This may not be what you want to hear but it is what the current market has shown for your particular model. By the way you didn't mention a trailer. That actually helps out a little bit on the value of the boat. ($500-$700) I hope this answer helps you in selling your boat.
