  1. Spikes (on a rubber track only) help you grip the track and make it easier to run.

    PROPER training can help your time immensely. New tequniques are developed for different people and the more things you try and the more you run the more you know about your own body.

    I reccoment training first, then spikes (cause you may not even need spikes after training).
