How much can you make on Avon?

I was considering selling Avon. I work part time and was hoping to pick up some extra cash. I'm a good sales woman but its also about how much Avon kicks down to reps. Can you really make some supplemental money from this?

  1. I know a lady that does nothing but sell Avon. She has a ton of customers and makes some pretty decent money. But she can also sell bridges to people with her sales skills. I think you average about 10 or 15% from each sale, but I am not certain about that. That means you have to sell a whole lotta Avon products to make big bucks! I think to buy a sample kit costs you something like $200.00 just to get started, but again, I'm not sure this is still how Avon operates.

Hope this helped you out some.  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚˜Âº

  2. centralmaineavonlady is correct. 20-50% depending on how much you sell. $10 to start, no shipping costs, 50% earnings on the first 4 orders.

the other posters have no idea what they are talking about.

  3. Avon only costs $10 to start up. You receive information and the brochures you need for your first two campaigns. You earn 50% the first four orders then 20-50% thereafter depending on your sales level. You can make extra money plus get great discounts on your own products. 4. it all depends on how much you sell.

if you make over 119$ in sales, then when you have to pay for it, you get a 40% discount on the items actual cost. that way, when the person pays for it, they're paying full price, but you get 40% off, so the 40% that you got off, is your profit.

i think around 100$ is 20% off and 60$ and under is 10%.

The more you sell, the more discount you get off products, the more profit you make.

    Good luck!

  5. Have you ever considered selling Mary Kay Cosmetics? With Mary Kay, you make a 50% profit on EVERY sale that you make - no matter how big or small. Since with Avon you have to meet certain sales goals to increase your profit, Mary Kay is really more profitable.

Also, Mary Kay only releases new brochures 4x per year (quarterly) and Avon releases new ones every few weeks. Since you have to purchase the brochures, it's hard to stay on top of the most current one with Avon.

Mary Kay's starter kit is only $100 (and you get over $320 in full size products, plus everything you need to start your business). If you are interested in learning more about Mary Kay, I would be glad to share the opportunity with you. My e-mail is: kymberleezimmer@marykay.com
