  1. If you're asking this question, then you probably want to check your local regulations first. Selling your catch requires a commercial fishing license and proper sales permit in most places. Better make sure you're not in violation of any regulations before you sell your crawdads.

    I've seen them sell between $1.99 to $5.99 per pound this year. The most recent price around my area (southern California) is $1.99 per pound for both fresh and frozen (dead) crawdads and $2.99 per pound for live ones. Keep in mind, prices are considerably lower in some states.
