How much cash and what kind of motor would it take for me to get about 300 hp in a 95 civic ?

what the heck is a v4?

anyways a regular d series civic engine is probably 200hp max after about $1000 into it. if you use a b or k series, it's gonna take around $1500-$15000 to get it 300hp. it depends on if you want- turbos, nos, supercharger, or all motor. different methods of achieving this goal has different costs. if you go cheap, the egine is more likely to have major mechanical faliures faster.

300hp for a civic is up there so the body is gonna need structural re-enforcement and a safety cage, which is gonna be extra costly.

most people can't handle that much power in a car that light. it's kinda like a bicycle that has a motorcycle engine on it. if you were accustomed to riding that bicycle and then all of the sudden it's as strong and fast as a motorcycle, you will be overwhelmed by its power. it will have to get some getting use to.

i've seen kids come into my friends shop and the night of the same day that the car is released, it is used for street racing and the next day it's back in the garage because it had overturned or flew into something.

swap in a B16 or GSR or Type R or B20 or H22 motor and turbo your car

before turboing you should uprgrade your engine like rods, and piston rings, etc inside your engine to uphold the turbo

then get intake,intake manifold,fuel injections,catback exhaust,

v tec controller, etc

also in order to hold that power in your car u need suspension, like strut bars everywhere and lots of suspension parts etc

could cost you about almost 10K

well it will be freakin hard to get 300 hp out of a v4 but its possible. if you turbo it it might get you about 200hp max. Just add air intake better headers and exhaust with the turbo and see where you get.
