  1. 80 - 100.

  2. Honda offers the widest range of trail bikes for kids. If he isn't going to ride/race motocross and is a fairly new rider the Honda CRF-F line is perfect for him. Honestly there isn't a huge power difference between the CRF80F and the CRF100F. Go to your Honda dealer and let him sit on both to see which fits him best. Either of these bikes would be awesome. They are extremely reliable and very cheap to maintain. If he is a beginner stay away from 2 stroke 80/85 MX bikes. Someone else mentioned the CRF150F and if that isn't too tall it would be great as well. Not nearly as much power as you would think. If he does plan to race or ride motocross go for the Honda CRF150R.

  3. from personal experiences.. 89cc being the highest... even for a dirt bike or quad... when he is older, taller and weights more he can work his way from a 125cc and up.. let him get the basic fundamentals of riding so he can enjoy it and not have to much power... your always better off with a quad " 4 wheeler" and it being an automatic.... if its his 1st the 89cc 5 speed manual might be to over whelming and shifting gears might confuse him... ive been riding since i was 4 years old started with a 50cc quad went to automatic 50cc dirtbike when i was 6.. then to a 89cc when i was 10 and then a 125cc and a 250cc pro circuit when i was 15 due to my experience... i say it is all a matter or preferance and parental advisory and willing to teach him how to ride safely... consult a few dealers and riders...

  4. yamaha ttr 125

  5. If hes never ridden at all and 80 4 stroke would be about right. Not too big and not too heavy, you can always change the sprockets tooth count and slow him down if ya want and he can still climb like a monkey with it.

  6. If that was my son, I would by a Honda CRF150. It has about the ride height for a child about 5 foot. Easy to maintain and upgrade, it has has manageable power. Something that a beginning rider needs. It is a great bike to hone his skills on, but not over powering to scare him away from motorcycling. It will get him started in the right direction and make it an easier transition should he decide to move up into the more motocross driven 250f anf 450f bikes. Plus, Honda is pretty good with financing and incentives.

  7. I would take him to a dealership and see what fits him and talk to a adult at the dealership about engine size for him.

  8. 2-stroke= 85cc

    4-stroke= 150cc or 250cc

  9. 80
