  1. I toured a paper plant in Maine a few years ago, they do use chlorine to bleach the paper, and they recycle as much as they can.  The inks they use are soy based.  But to recycle paper, it uses lots of water.

    I do know this, it takes 67% less electricity to recycle paper than it does to make it from virign trees.  Besides, where are we going to get all the trees from we need to meet our demand for paper?
