  1. Depends on their age. Under 18-yes. You still are and will always be their father.Just because you arent with their mother anymore doesnt matter. And just because she doesnt work-so what! You are still the father, that never changes, regardless of your new living situation! And after age 18-tell forever-you are still a parent!

  2. child support is calculated by %'s. I  don't know the rate in california but in Texas it is 20% of the gross pay for the first child and 5% addition for each child after that. So you have 3 kids, you are looking at 30% of gross pay going for child support. Since the father has a new baby with another person, it will a little bit lower, I believe it drops 3% for each child the father has outside of the initial children.

Try looking on your attorney general's website and see if they have a child support calculator to give rough estimates on what he could end up paying.

  3. Keep in mind if children remain in school up until 23, then, child support will be expected through that time.  Um they are teenagers, how much and what amount of child support have you paid to date, when you go before the Court, they will take into consideration the amount you make, along with your expenses (another baby - come on now - more child support to pay out later on - just think - up until 23), and hopefully they will be fair, but, keep in mind, as children grow, their expenses grow, you might think about considering a second job.   God Bless.
