  1. I generally use one  in the floater.  One for every 1000 gallons of water.

  2. How many gallons is your pool?  If it is 4' high that is 24,235 gallons.  To achieve 1ppm chlorine add 27oz of Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5%, pool chlorine.  Typical chlorine levels are 1-3ppm with 5 max.

The floaters will maintain the chlorine levels somewhat but your pool needs to be there already!

Take pool water sample to pool supply for analysis, they can recommend what else you need.  Stay away from calcium hypo shock.  It makes more problems than it cures.

    You're welcome!!
