Water is never truly clean unless filtered by machine/ process/ etc.  Water thats natural has all sorts of stuff in it.  Even tap water has stuff in it.  And all the things in the world, chemicals, sewage, dirt, soil, ocean water, etc.  gets whipped up by winds and evaporation, then gets rained down and soaked in and run into the aquifers and into the water table.  Water is a continually flowing entity and it touches everything, there for everything is in it.

Thats why it is so important to realize we are just a part in the web.  We can do no one thing with out effecting the entire web.  The effects may take years but they will happen.
