  1. Enough to play a shot on the cue ball right on the rail with the cue flat

  2. Enuf room to be able to stick your pole out properly from any angle?  Whoever sells them would be able to tell you how much space you need.

  3. You need to allow space for when you play. The full length of your pool (cue)stick in any position around the table.

Here is a site I found for you that list the space needed for a pool table.

    http://www.actionbilliards.com/room.html

    Table Size  -   4' X 8' OS

    Playing Area -   46" X 92"

    57" Cues -  13'4" X 17'2"

    Cues 52"   -   12'6" X 16'4"

    Cues 48" Cues  -  11'10" X 15'8"

  4. we have a pool table in our basement.  put the tip of the cue against the side of the table, add at least one foot. 18 inches is better.  and don't forget about the ceiling.  ppl have a tendency to pull up the sticks fast and high.  false ceilings will get beat up pretty bad, but at least they won't hurt the cues.  are u going to have an over the table light?

  5. enough so when you are hitting, the que sticks dont hit the wall

  6. You need 5 feet of room all the way around the table.

  7. good question. I own a bar and am an avid pool player. u want a minimum clearance equvilant to the length of a pool stick...then add maybe a few feet or so for the bigger players lol. The more room the better

  8. I'd give 6' a side.

  9. 48" inches

    thank you.

  10. 1 length of your cue stick.
