Does anyone know how much commission websites like Moneysupermarket.com and comparethemarket.com take from the credit card companies, holiday companies or banks if a deal is done though the website?

If someone starts a new credit card though the moneysupermarket website how much does moneysupermarket get?

Thanks

  1. I can't answer this for credit card companies but for insurance companies typically they pay moneysupermarket.com around £40 for every sale they initiate. This commission does not affect the price paid by the customer as they pay the same price whether they go direct to the insurer or buy via a price comparison site.  For more info on how swiftcover.com fairs on moneysupermarket.com, have a look at http://www.swiftcover.com/carinsurance/c...
