How much commission should i pay if a company introduce new client to me.?

I am running a small website company, and one of my customer asked me that if he introduce his customers to me, how much commission can i pay to him. does anyone get an ideal?

See it like this, you are getting something (a hot lead) and he asks you how much that is worth to you.

How much would it cost you to generate a similar hot lead yourself? (timewise, marketing, calling cold leads, ...) That would give you a good starting point.
