How much compensation can a person expect to get for a double break of their arm, severe bruising and trauma

My friends wife fell in a medical centre in the uk and suffered these injuries, she daren't walk on that kind of tiled floor now.

  1. Not sure but just push it all the way, don't accept their 1st offer for compensation. My partner was in a car crash and he accepted the 1st offer and lots of people said that we shouldn't have done.


  2. Would depend on the cause of the fall, was it a foreseeable incident or did she trip over her own feet?

    Also the long term disability (if any) would be considered.

    Accidents happen, not always someone elses fault.

  3. She may not be entitled to compensation.  Sometimes cr@p happens and you don't get paid for it.

    In order to collect - the medical center has to be negligent. They have to have done - or not done -something that caused her injury.  If there was no defect in the tiles and she fell -- most likely she is not entitled to any compensation at all.

    Although I am in the US - I suspect that proof of the medical centers negligence will still be required to prevail.
