  1. Dream on David L

  2. ~~Each state is different. Their is body part ratings set up under state laws. You may be able to go under your state's website and see if you can find the rating.~~

  3. About £25,000ish if it was a fault on ur employers part

  4. I'm going to assume that your index finger was amputated.  Each finger is rated different than others, thumb being the most expensive and pinky finger the least amount.

It all depends here, half of a index finger, are we talking about you still having a knuckle or below the knuckle? There are many different rates for each part of the index finger.  So if you lost your finger above the knuckle you might be able to get about $2000-$3500, below the knuckle you'll get a little bit more, maybe another $2,000 more.

Remember each state is different, so each amount for each partial permanent disability is different than others, you might get more but you might get less.  Some states use formulas while others are percentages based by maximum weeks.

  5. yikes! a lot! ask ur lawyer

  6. Loss of index finger

    - three phalanges 10%

    - two phalanges 8%

    - one phalanx 4%

    based on the sum assured,

the above is only a general guide for Personal Accident Coverage, if your employer bought one for you. Your rate may differ from the above.

  7. There will be a list of benefits under the policy for loss of limbs from arms down to fingers dependant on the insurer your employers use.  You are more likely to receive more compensation if your life is more effected by the loss i.e. you play a musical instrument and now you cannot due to the loss and this loss of enjoyment may also be compensated.

  8. Not very much, one of our crew lost a full finger through work, was no fault of his own, he got very little.
