  1. Type "any concrete amount" into Yahoo and select a local company that will deliver to you (and mix on site) the amount that you need :-)

You could also 'cheat' by laying the base down on 60x60 cm paving slabs which are laid on top of a mortar mix (1 concrete : 4 sand). You then have a nice coloured flor for the greenhouse.

  2. You might consider using the 'old fashioned' grey slabs, about 2" thick - my shed stood on those for over 20 years.

  3. For a metal garden shed you really don't need a very thick pad. Three inches on top of a couple inches of 3/4" gravel will do it nicely.

So, 78x78x3 is 18252 cubic inches.  That's 10.6 cubic feet, or just under 1/2 yard of concrete.  You won't get a concrete company to deliver that little, you'll have to mix it yourself.

  4. 1 yard of concrete 81 square feet/ 4 inches thick. Without doing the math, it look like you need 1/2 a yard to make your slab 4'' thick. Concrete companies wont deliver that little , but you can find places that will mix it and have trailers you can pull home and pour. With it being summer, hot as it is , try to find the closest.place near your job site. The longer the concrete sits idle the harder it is to get out of the trailer. Ask them to mix it a little loose. Good Luck !
