  1. If they are IR they could see at night . There is part of the visible IR spectrum but there is the invisible IR spectrum...

    I'd love to get a FLIR camera to play with, but the prices scare me.

    Added later: "If you have to ask..." is a common expression with a well-understood meaning. If you are not familiar with it that's not my problem.

  3. About 300 bucks.

      Amplifiers are more expensive but if there is no light they won't work.
