Question:

How much could I talk down this seller on a 95 Camaro?

This car has low miles-about 85000 but it has a dent in the rear end which is estimated at 500 to repair. It also has a tear in the seat. The seller is asking 4000, but I was thinking maybe offering 3000 cash instead. Should I go lower or is that pretty good?

  1. Offer him $2750 and see if he'll bite.  If not, keep looking.  These old Camaros are a dime a dozen.  I had a '95 V6 Camaro.  They have plenty of power,  and are fun to drive, but are terrible on wet roads.

  2. The only one who can answer the question is the seller.  I'd bet though if you had $3K in cash in hand they wouldn't refuse it.

  3. I would settle for $3,000. If its  V-6 try $2,500. I see no reason why the owner wouldn't 3k in cash for it.
