I doubt anything because it would be so quick and fast. Also, they might die from shock before the train hits them.

Probably instantaneous complete trauma would kill you with no feeling.

But then you'd be laying guilt all over the train conductor and leaving all your loved ones behind wondering why.  Also you'd cause a tremendous train wreck and may even take other lives out just because of your selfishness.

This is actually a more complicated question than it sounds.

If a person gets "rolled up", under the train, usually from a fall off a moving train between cars, then that person is in a giant deli slicing machine, and as they are rolled along, they are carved up.  "You want that sliced thick or thin?"

If a person is struck by a train, even at a speed as low as 25MPH, they are literally popped like a grape.  When the inertia behind that 2" boiler plate that comes in contact with a body,  it compresses the body quickly and completely.  Think of how a car looks after hitting someone and killing them.  That dented body absorbed some of the energy.  Boiler plate doesn't.  People have literally been knocked out of their shoes, and that is no joke.

Though the body may or may not come apart on impact, the compression spikes the pressure of the interior of the body, and all the blood vessels basically explode.

All of which is a compelling reason for one to stay off the right of way.  Trains don't come looking for you.  You must put yourself in their way.  It is a pretty grizzly way to go, and it will definitely be a closed casket funeral.

Anytime there is major trauma, the body goes in to shock, and you will likley lose conciousness immediately, if it is your lucky day, and feeling pain would probably be minimal.  But, you will experience the most terrible fright you could never even dream about.  That, you will feel.

depends on if they were killed or not, and where struck (like was their leg laying on the rail when the train came by?, or were they just hit, then spun around?)

they could probably only feel down to the end of the limb that was cut off.... it would hurt really bad, because it does not "cut" off things, it smashes them off.

Keep in mind that each car weighs atleast 30 tons, and each locomotive weighs 100+ tons.. there is usually about a 4+ inch gap in the amputation, so there is little to no hope of sewing it back on.

I'm going to try and ease your mind here, because I feel that in spite of certain other comments here, you are thinking about something that has already happened to someone you know.

I once was on a train that hit a young woman. I got under our carriage to tend to her and she looked 'undamaged', so to speak, but sadly she was already gone. But the expression on her face showed no sign of pain, she just looked liked she had seen something and that was all. The was no fear in her look and I honestly think she was gone so quickly she literally didn't feel a thing.

That may not always be the case, but this time it was.

Not much, since the impact would probably kill you instantly. But the risk of not getting killed would be worse because you would most likely be severely handicapped.

I mean really, how many people have you heard of that survived getting hit by a train?

ummm  kinda creepy question, would be quick I would think if the train was going fast.

the time a train can kill a person under it when passed over is less tha 5 seconds. so the person under it will experience a huge massive pain as it goes on his body that a person could ever have in the world, but only for 3 seconds, unfortunately. we can come to the word that he doesn't actually feel anything, coz he/she dies almost instantly. no one could feel that pain in most cases, unless survived with injuries.
