  1. just give him a little sippy cup if you want at lunch but if he is still having breast milk and 3 meals as well, then if you want to give him cows milk you may wanna drop a feed, and replace it with a cup of milk or a bottle.  if he is having 3 meals a day he should be getting enough nutrients from that...dont overload your kid on so much milk...if you wanna get him drinking cows milk slow down the breast feeding!!!  get him drinking water as well.....  if he is eating 3 meals a day he is getting everything he needs.....!

  2. uk...1 pint per day

use your b/milk as well..hes only using it as comfort anyway..then you can see what hes getting..but dont over fill on milk as it will affect his eating and at 1 he needs different types of food

  3. My little boy just turned one and I asked my health visitor a week ago and she says he should be having one pint of milk a day.  That includes any mild you might use in cooking or cereal.  So for example, I don't give my son milk from a beaker in the morning as he has it on his breakfast cereal.  He has water for a drink.  He then has a beaker early afternoon and then one before bed.  She told me this was fine.  I'm not sure about the breast side of things.  It's difficult to know how much he is getting.  I would assume you could trade one of the beakers of milk for a breast feed?  Good luck. xx

  4. be aware some kids are alergic to cow milk,  then you feed with goat milk, it is much better

  5. My daughter was raised on cows milk from 6 months as I couldn't breastfeed due to mastitis.  I added vitamin drops from the pharmacist to the milk and it gave her everything she needed.  It isn't recommended by the doctors currently, but it is quite common!  My daughter wasn't getting enough from her first milk formula, and she was allergic to the second milk formula, so I didn't have much choice.  She is FINE!

I say if you are worried about giving cows milk as a drink, then get yourself some of the drops and make sure you only give them full cream milk.  With three normal meals a day, this will be enough for your baby.

    Goodluck!
