i have 2 month old twin girls and i hate to just sit here and let them cry, but i've fed them, changed them, burped them, given them mylicon, rocked them, and every time i put one down to get the other one, the first one starts crying again. could something else be wrong or are they just spoiled? what's wrong with them? thanks!

  1. 2 month old they don't know what is spoil ,

maybe they have gas or colic

My son was like this when I put him down he start crying ,some times he need to sleep and he does know how to go to sleep,

when they are crying see if there face become to red and they move they legs to a tummy << it means thats they have a colic

  2. I don't believe you can spoil babies at this age. However, with that being said, I do think it is possible they just want to be held. My two month old is like that. She is crying because she needs something but sometimes that something is just a need to be held. I don't believe that holding her every time she cry is spoiling her at this age...now if I am still doing it when she is 6 months old, then I have set up a bad habit and spoiled her. For me the "cry it out" is impossible, I have to at least pick her up. So, when is too much? ...when it is just too much for you to handle the crying anymore. Turn off the phone, lock the door, camp out on the bed, put one on each side of you and let them snuggle in your arms.

  3. You shouldn't let a baby cry alone. It's not right. There's a reason you feel bad about it, because it's not natural and goes against instincts.

Please don't let your little girls cry. They are not spoiled. They need to be loved.

  4. A 2 month old CANNOT be spoiled! It is a child's nature to only want want he/she needs at this age. Not until much later, like 9-12 months depending on the child can they actually start being"spoiled", and then it really is just wanting extra attention, but is that so bad?? I personally had a high needs child (and he still is to this day), but using a sling did wonders! There are some that will allow you to carry one on each side (though you have to purchase two) and that will allow for both to get comforted!

  5. I saw an oprah the other day and wrote down the following notes. The show was on a book called 'Dunstan Baby Language'. The woman who wrote it claims the following sounds (in babies under 6 months) mean -

    neh hungry

    ow sleepy

    heh discomfort

    eair lower gas

    eh burp

I have 3 kids and I guess may be considered pretty tough but they all slept through from 6 weeks.  I'd handle crying for 5 minutes. Go and check on them. 5 more minutes. And so on. Never had twins though! Thats a whole new ball game.

  6. hmmm....are you putting the twins together when you put them down or apart? I think they just want some attention..when i babysat twins(i was a regular nanny for them since their birth up till 3 years of age) they would want to be near one another for comfort and conversing (it was funny how they just "talked" to one another!

but anyway..it sounds like they just want attention from mommy...my advice is to let them lay next to one another and if they still cry...just leave them be because they will stop before you know it

  7. some babies just DO THAT!!! i have to say!!!! mine did and it was just phase they went through. however, you have 2 at the same time!!! tjey are not spoiled yet,,,,,,,, they just want to be with you. AND if its your first you dont understand yet to take advantage of it.. b/c soon they will be 1 wanting to do their own thing.

i know its hard but think of the good part, you get to cuddle little babies!!! it will be gone soon enough!!!!!!!

  8. wow that must be tough. Im having the same problem with my little girl. Every time I put her down she crys, no matter how tied she is. She just wants constant cuddling. But i only have one to deal with. All I can say is good luck! and I will be watching this poste to get tips too.
