Cage = anywhere from $35.00 to $70.00

Toy = between $5.00 to $25.00

Water bottle (usually comes with cage)= between $10-15

Food dish= $5.00-$10.00

Food (depends on size and label)= $7.00 - $20.00

Wheel= $12.00 to $25.00

overall I have spent about 250-290 dollars on my hamster , but that is because I only want the best for him and he is really spoiled. On a normal budget without luxuries I guess it would add up to a 100 dollars

fair sized cage - around 30 dollers, and usually cages come with a water bottle and food dish but not all cages.

1 toy (excluding wheel) - around 5 to 20 dollers, depends on the toy. a good toy is a ball and u need the small size so thats about 3dollers

water bottle - around 3 or 4 dollers

food holder about a doller for a small size

food about 5 dollers

wheel - usually 4 or 5 dollers

I have a dwarf hamster and in total he cost me about 55 to 65 dollars in canada. Some cage(like crittertrail) come with a food dish, wheel, and water bottle. Thoses fairly sized equipped cages cost any where from 25 to 50 dollars canadain. The food i bought is a good quality mixe, and is 2 lb, it was about 10 to 15 dollars.

Knawing logs are about 10$ for 2lb

For big bags of bedding it is about $12

One toy could cost between 5 And 25 $

The dwarf hamster costs about 12 to 20 $

Waterbottle and food dishes are normally 15$ and less

Note- hamster/dwarf hamsters do not need vet check ups, the only time to take them to a vet is in an emergency, they don't need any costly shots.
